Precision green filter (515 – 558 nm, > 90 % T) with < 1 % leakage in UV/blue and red bands—ideal for colour-pure green channels.
BH-B19 is built for applications demanding a clean, high-brightness green
channel with virtually no red or blue bleed-through. Transmission rockets past
90 % at ~515 nm, stays flat above that level to ~558 nm, and falls below
one percent by ~610 nm. Below ~485 nm it is also under one percent, ensuring
that UV/blue noise stays out of the signal path, and it remains < 1 % right
out to ~730 nm.
KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates
cut to any outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of
0.21 – 3.8 mm, and can ship prototypes in about two weeks.
Typical uses: GFP/FITC fluorescence excitation, green-LED or laser machine
vision, RGB projection engines, discrete green bands in multispectral cameras,
saturated stage lighting, and AR waveguides that need bright green injection
free of UV/IR heat.
BH-B19 is a precision green band-pass filter built for applications that demand a clean, high-brightness green channel with virtually no red or blue bleed-through. Transmission rockets past 90 % at roughly 515 nm, stays flat above 90 % through ~558 nm, and falls below 1 % by 610 nm. Below ~485 nm it sits below 1 %, keeping UV/blue noise out of the signal, and it remains < 1 % all the way to about 730 nm (a gentle up-tick appears only beyond that point).
Key advantages
Narrow 515 – 558 nm passband, > 90 % T – Delivers saturated green illumination or detection with excellent colour purity.
Deep side-band blocking – < 1 % T from 390 – 485 nm and 610 – 730 nm suppresses UV/blue and yellow-red leakage that can fog sensors or wash out displays.
Hard, durable oxide stack – Ion-beam-assisted coatings withstand high-power LEDs/lasers, humidity, and repeated cleaning.
Wide substrate menu – Available on Borofloat®, soda-lime, D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG glass in thicknesses from 0.21 – 3.8 mm and shapes from 5 mm to 450 mm.
Typical applications
Fluorescence and flow cytometry – Excite GFP/FITC while dumping autofluorescence and red emission.
Machine-vision illumination – Pair with green LEDs or lasers for high-contrast inspection without red flare.
Laser & LED projection – Channel green primaries cleanly in RGB light engines.
Multispectral & hyperspectral cameras – Provide a discrete green channel for vegetation indices or colourimetry.
Stage & architectural lighting – Produce razor-saturated green beams that stay bright and cool without coloured gels.
