Full CTO colour-conversion filter shifting 5600 K toward 3200 K for seamless mixed-lighting balance in broadcast, film, and architectural applications.
CTO-054 delivers a +131 Mired shift to move 5600 K light toward 3200 K. Its smooth spectral slope creates a natural warming effect, with about 45.1 % average visible transmittance and approximately 1.5 stops of light loss.
The ion-assisted hard-oxide coating is built for repeated handling, heat, and cleaning.
Best suited for:
Full daylight-to-tungsten conversion on HMI or daylight LED fixtures, mixed-light interiors, and scenes that need a strong warm match.
CTO-054 is a sharp-edged deep orange-red longpass with its 50 % crossover at 621 nm and excellent NIR performance. UV-blue is well suppressed, with a blocking notch at 436-473 nm (T < 5 %), and green averages just 14.5 %. Above the transition, transmission rises steeply to 85 % by 653 nm, reaching a peak of 96.4 % at 745 nm. NIR averages an exceptional 94.7 %. The clean, steep transition and high plateau make CTO-054 one of the most efficient deep-red longpass CTOs in the series.

CTO-054 is a Color Temperature Orange Filter - Sharp-Edge Deep Orange-Red (T50% = 621 nm). CTO-054 is a sharp-edge deep orange-red filter with its 50 % crossover at 621 nm, providing strong blocking across the entire blue-green-yellow spectrum. Violet averages 3.6 %, blue 4.0 %, green 5.2 %, yellow 13.6 %, and orange 54.1 %, before climbing steeply to red at 91.0 % and peaking at 95.1 % at 703 nm. Common uses include Stage deep red-orange effects, Film amber and fire simulations, Scientific long-pass edge filtering, and Machine vision deep orange/red isolation.
Key published specs for CTO-054 include Colour shift direction: Warming (5600 K → 2900 K); Mired shift: +172 Mired; Correction strength: 1.5× CTO; Average transmittance: ~36.7 % T (visible range); Peak transmittance: ~95.1 % T near 703 nm.
CTO-054 is commonly used for Stage deep red-orange effects, Film amber and fire simulations, Scientific long-pass edge filtering, and Machine vision deep orange/red isolation. Stage deep red-orange effects - delivers a rich deep amber-red for dramatic fire effects and warm scene design.
