Dual-band green filter (475 – 517 nm, > 90 % T) with an integrated ~740 nm NIR window—perfect for bright green plus alignment telemetry.
G72918 couples a high-brightness green passband with a convenient near-IR
window. Transmission soars past 90 % near 475 nm, holds above that mark to ~517 nm, and then
collapses below one percent by ~550 nm—keeping yellow-to-red light out of the system. A second
rise near 730 nm peaks around 87 % at ~740 nm before tapering toward 770 nm, giving you an
alignment or telemetry channel without extra optics.
KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates cut to any
outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of 0.21 – 3.8 mm, and can
ship prototypes in about two weeks.
Typical uses: GFP/FITC fluorescence, green-LED or laser machine vision with NIR
fiducial tracking, RGB laser/LED projection, NDVI and multispectral drones (green + NIR),
saturated stage lighting, and AR waveguides needing bright green plus IR tracking signals.
G72918 is a dual-band green filter that couples a high-brightness 90 %+ passband with a convenient near-IR window. Transmission soars past 90 % near 475 nm, stays above 90 % up to roughly 517 nm, and collapses to < 1 % by ~550 nm, keeping yellow-to-red light out of the system. A second rise appears around 730 nm, peaking near 87 % at ~740 nm before tapering toward 770 nm, giving you an optional alignment or telemetry channel without extra optics.
Key advantages
Vivid 475 – 517 nm band, > 90 % T – Delivers saturated green while maximising brightness and colour fidelity.
Deep blocking outside band – < 1 % T from 390 – 450 nm and 550 – 700 nm suppresses UV/blue flare and red bleed-through.
Integrated NIR window (~740 nm, 88 % T) – Provides an unobtrusive channel for alignment beacons or dual-band imaging.
Hard, AR-ready coatings – Ion-beam-assisted oxide stack shrugs off heat, humidity, and cleaning.
Customisable blanks – Round, square, or free-form parts from 5 mm to 450 mm, 0.21 – 3.8 mm thick, on Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG glass.
Typical applications
Fluorescence & biosensing – Excite GFP/FITC while dumping autofluorescence and IR.
Machine-vision illumination – Pair with green LEDs or lasers for high-contrast inspection, with NIR channel for fiducial tracking.
Projection & display engines – Cleanly inject green primaries in laser-phosphor or RGB-LED light paths.
Stage & architectural lighting – Produce razor-saturated green washes that stay bright on stage; the NIR notch helps camera-friendly contrast.
Multispectral cameras & NDVI drones – Capture a discrete green band plus NIR reference without added optics.
