Mid-green filter (526 – 570 nm, > 90 % T) with < 1 % UV/blue & red leakage and only a mild < 6 % IR tail beyond 760 nm.
G73814 passes a vivid, highly saturated band of mid-green while
tamping stray photons down to the noise floor. Transmission breaks 90 % near
526 nm, stays above that level to ~570 nm, and plunges below one percent by ~600 nm.
UV/blue energy is suppressed to near zero (aside from an < 8 % ripple around
390 nm that KUPO can flatten on request), and yellow-to-near-IR light remains
suppressed right out to ~760 nm—where only a gentle tail rises to under 6 %.
KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates cut
to any outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of
0.21 – 3.8 mm, and can ship prototypes in about two weeks.
Typical uses: FITC-style fluorescence excitation, green-LED machine vision,
RGB laser/LED projection, discrete green channels in multispectral cameras, saturated
stage lighting, and AR waveguides needing bright green injection free of UV/IR heat.
G73814 is a mid-green passband filter that drives > 90 % of incoming light straight through a flat window centred in the eye-sensitive 526 – 570 nm range, then slams the door on everything else. Below ~495 nm transmission drops to essentially zero (apart from a tiny < 8 % ripple in the near-UV that can be removed on request). Above ~617 nm it falls back under 1 % and stays there right out to 760 nm, where only a gentle tail of < 6 % rises toward the spectral edge. The result is a razor-clean green signal with minimal leakage into cameras, spectrometers, or audience sight-lines.
Key advantages
High-flat passband (526 – 570 nm) – > 90 % peak transmission keeps green channels bright and colour-true.
Broadband blocking – < 1 % T from 395 – 495 nm and 617 – 765 nm eliminates UV/blue noise and red flare.
Cool, hard-oxide stack – Ion-assisted layers survive heat, humidity, solvents, and daily wipe-downs.
Custom shapes & glass – Round, square, or free-form blanks from 5 mm to 450 mm, 0.21 – 3.8 mm thick, on Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG.
Typical applications
Fluorescence microscopy & cytometry – Deliver FITC-style excitation while dumping autofluorescence and IR.
Machine-vision illumination – Pair with green LEDs/lasers to sharpen contrast in reflective-part inspection.
Projection & display engines – Cleanly channel the green primary in laser-phosphor or RGB-LED systems.
Multispectral & hyperspectral cameras – Provide a discrete green band for vegetation or colour-indexing metrics.
Stage & architectural lighting – Create saturated green beams or washes that stay vivid on stage without heating gels.
AR waveguides & HUDs – Inject bright green images into see-through combiners with minimal thermal budget.
