G74015 is a tight-band green filter that drives > 90 % of incoming light straight through a flat window centred on the eye-sensitive 535 – 572 nm zone, then slams the door on everything else. Below ~505 nm transmission is essentially zero—apart from two small ripples near 382 nm (≈30 %) and 391 nm (≈20 %) that KUPO can flatten on request. Above ~614 nm it plunges back under one percent and stays there out past 760 nm, with only a gentle tail under five percent toward the spectral edge. The result: saturated, camera-friendly green with minimal UV, blue, yellow-red, or IR leakage.

KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates cut to any outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of 0.21 – 3.8 mm, and can ship prototypes in about two weeks.

Typical uses: FITC-style fluorescence excitation, green-LED or DPSS-laser machine vision, RGB laser/LED projection, discrete green channels for vegetation indexing, saturated stage beams, and AR/HUD waveguides that need bright green injection without UV/IR heat.

Description

G74015 is a tight-green bandpass that lets > 90 % of light through a flat window centred on the eye-sensitive 535 – 572 nm zone, then shuts everything else down. Below about 505 nm transmission is essentially zero—apart from two small ripples near 382 nm (~30 %) and 391 nm (~20 %) that can be flattened on request. Above ~614 nm it plunges back under 1 % and stays there out past 760 nm, with only a gentle tail (< 5 %) toward the spectral edge. The result is a saturated, camera-friendly green with minimal UV, blue, yellow–red or IR leakage.

Key advantages

  • High-flat passband (535 – 572 nm) – > 90 % peak transmission maximises green brightness and colour fidelity.

  • Robust off-band blocking – < 1 % T from 400 – 505 nm and 614 – 760 nm keeps sensors free of UV/blue noise and red flare.

  • Hard-oxide durability – Ion-assisted layers shrug off heat, humidity, solvents, and routine cleaning.

  • Made-to-order formats – Round, square, or custom blanks from 5 mm to 450 mm, 0.21 – 3.8 mm thick, on Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG glass.

Typical applications

  • Fluorescence microscopy & flow cytometry – Deliver FITC-style excitation while dumping autofluorescence and IR.

  • Machine-vision illumination – Pair with green LEDs or DPSS lasers to sharpen contrast in reflective-part inspection.

  • Projection & display engines – Cleanly route green primaries in laser-phosphor or RGB-LED light paths.

  • Multispectral & hyperspectral cameras – Provide a discrete green band for vegetation or colour-indexing metrics.

  • Stage & architectural lighting – Produce razor-saturated green beams or washes that stay vivid without heating gels.

  • AR waveguides & HUDs – Inject bright green imagery into see-through combiners with minimal thermal load.
