Medium-band green filter (500 – 555 nm, > 90 % T) with sub-1 % UV/blue and red leakage—ideal for bright, colour-true green channels.
G9017 harvests maximum light where human vision and many sensors are most
sensitive. Transmission clears 90 % just past 500 nm, hovers between 90 – 95 % to
~555 nm, then plummets below one percent by ~595 nm. Below 475 nm it also sits
under one percent, yielding a vivid, glare-free green channel with excellent isolation from
UV/blue and yellow-red spill. KUPO can flatten the minor < 8 % ripple near 393 nm
on request.
KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates cut to any
outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of 0.21 – 3.8 mm,
and can ship prototypes in about two weeks.
Typical uses: FITC/GFP fluorescence excitation, green-LED or laser machine vision,
RGB laser/LED projection, discrete green bands in multispectral cameras, saturated stage
lighting, and AR/HUD waveguides that need bright green injection without UV/IR heat.
The G9017 delivers a substantial 70 nm passband spanning green through yellow with 94.9 % peak transmission at 543 nm. This broad-aperture filter achieves outstanding blocking at both spectral extremes, establishing it as the optimal choice for applications requiring maximum green-yellow collection without sacrificing spectral purity.
Integrate G9017 into high-throughput and imaging systems requiring broad green-yellow detection; prototyping and production scaling available.

Key published specs for G9017 include Centre wavelength (CWL): 527 nm; Bandwidth (FWHM): 70 nm; Peak transmittance: ≥ 94.9 % T; Passband range: 492 – 562 nm; Edge steepness: ~14.5 nm (10 → 90 % per edge).
G9017 is commonly used for Epifluorescence Microscopy, High-Throughput Screening, Laser Line Filtering, and Display and Lighting Quality Control. Epifluorescence Microscopy - Collect bright GFP and yellow fluorophore signals simultaneously with minimal background noise.
KUPO lists the construction for G9017 as Ion-assisted hard-oxide; 5 – 450 mm shapes, 0.21 – 3.8 mm thick. Published custom options include CWL shifting, bandwidth tuning, custom blocking ranges, rapid prototypes. Maximum Customization Options - Order as round, square, or free-form optical blanks (5-450 mm) on Borofloat, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG (0.21-3.8 mm thickness).
The published angle of incidence for G9017 is 0° (normal incidence); custom angles available. The hard-oxide coating is built for repeated handling, heat, and cleaning.
