Medium-band green filter (500 – 555 nm, > 90 % T) with sub-1 % UV/blue and red leakage—ideal for bright, colour-true green channels.
G9017 harvests maximum light where human vision and many sensors are most
sensitive. Transmission clears 90 % just past 500 nm, hovers between 90 – 95 % to
~555 nm, then plummets below one percent by ~595 nm. Below 475 nm it also sits
under one percent, yielding a vivid, glare-free green channel with excellent isolation from
UV/blue and yellow-red spill. KUPO can flatten the minor < 8 % ripple near 393 nm
on request.
KUPO coats Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG substrates cut to any
outline—from 5 mm chips to 450 mm plates—with thicknesses of 0.21 – 3.8 mm,
and can ship prototypes in about two weeks.
Typical uses: FITC/GFP fluorescence excitation, green-LED or laser machine vision,
RGB laser/LED projection, discrete green bands in multispectral cameras, saturated stage
lighting, and AR/HUD waveguides that need bright green injection without UV/IR heat.
G9017 is a medium-band green filter engineered to harvest the most light where human vision and many sensors are most sensitive. Key advantages
High-brightness passband (500 – 555 nm, > 90 % T) – Delivers saturated green colour without dimming your source.
Deep out-of-band blocking – < 1 % T from 380 – 475 nm and 595 – 750 nm keeps red flare, blue noise, and IR leakage off the detector.
Hard-oxide coating stack – Ion-beam-assisted deposition resists heat, humidity, and repeated cleaning.
Custom formats available – Round, square, or free-form parts from 5 mm to 450 mm, 0.21 – 3.8 mm thick, on Borofloat®, soda-lime, Schott D263 T, or Corning Eagle XG glass.
Typical applications
Fluorescence microscopy & cytometry – Excite FITC/GFP while dumping autofluorescence and IR.
Machine-vision illumination – Pair with green LEDs or lasers to boost SNR in reflective inspections.
Projection & display engines – Cleanly channel green primaries in laser-phosphor or RGB-LED light paths.
Multispectral & hyperspectral cameras – Provide a discrete green band for vegetation and colour indexing.
Stage & architectural lighting – Produce razor-saturated green beams or washes that stay bright and cool without gel fade.
AR waveguides & HUDs – Inject bright, eye-safe green imagery into transparent combiners with negligible thermal load.
