BH-A05 is a single-side broadband AR coating that drives reflections on ordinary glass down to the noise floor while pushing total hemispherical transmission past 94 % across the full visible spectrum. Starting around 380 nm the stack climbs rapidly, plateaus at 95 – 96 % through the 420 – 720 nm band, and stays above 93 % out to 780 nm. The result: brighter images, better contrast, and less ghosting in any application that still needs one un-coated reference face or bonding surface on the opposite side.
Key advantages
> 94 % Tavg (s-pol, 0°) – boosts system throughput by ~8 % versus uncoated soda-lime windows.
Single-side architecture – leaves the second face bare for optical cementing, sensor epoxy, or IR-blocking over-coat.
Durable oxide stack – passes MIL-C-675C adhesion, humidity, and moderate abrasion without crazing.
Large-format capable – up to 450 mm × 650 mm sheets, 0.5 – 6 mm thick, on Borofloat®, D 263 T, fused silica, or acrylic.
Typical applications
Camera & projector cover plates – squeeze extra f-stops of light onto sensors or DLP chips.
Augmented-reality combiners – minimise forward reflections on the air side while leaving the inner face for waveguide coupling.
Display touch panels – raise brightness and cut sparkle on phone, tablet, and HUD glass.
Scientific cuvettes & flow cells – improve signal-to-noise in absorbance and fluorescence channels.
Lighting optics – stop lens ghosting and stray flare in high-CRI LED or laser-phosphor fixtures.
