Broad Bandpass Filters
Our Broad Bandpass Filters are designed to isolate and transmit a wide, uniform window of the spectrum while blocking stray light. This provides flat, even transmission across a generous band of color, making them ideal for multispectral and machine-vision cameras used in material classification, remote-sensing payloads tracking vegetation, and biomedical analyzers monitoring fluorophores. In entertainment lighting, designers use them to create broad, even color washes without the undesirable color fringing that can result from stacking multiple narrow filters.
Each filter is a durable hard-dielectric stack on your choice of high-quality glass, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 450°C. We can produce any geometry you require, from 5 mm chips to 450 mm panels, and can add anti-reflective or protective over-coats as needed. Every part ships with MIL-M-13508C certification for humidity, adhesion, and abrasion, ensuring it is built to perform reliably whether it's used in a lab, on a factory line, or in a touring fixture.
