TMG-3308 is a minus-green (magenta-balance) broadband filter that trims the green band while keeping strong blue and red output. Transmission sits around ~68–70% from ~410–450 nm, falls to a controlled trough of ~40–45% near ~540–550 nm, then climbs through the amber/red to ~80–83% by ~600–620 nm and ~88–92% around ~680–710 nm, holding ~82–88% out to ~780 nm. The result is a clean magenta shift that removes LED/fluorescent “plus-green” cast without crushing exposure.
Key advantages
-
Minus-green notch — targeted dip centred ~540–550 nm neutralises green spike while preserving skin tones.
-
High red throughput — ~88–92% T in the 680–710 nm band keeps reds rich and highlights open.
-
Useful blue pass — ~68–70% T across ~410–450 nm maintains scene detail and white-balance flexibility.
-
Smooth, low-ripple curve — predictable correction across dimming levels and fixture types.
-
Production-ready build — durable dielectric stack; optional rear-surface AR and slight wedge to suppress ghosts/flare.
-
Flexible formats — Borofloat®, Eagle XG or D263 T (0.21–3.8 mm) for high-temp use to ~450 °C; economical soda-lime for ≤150 °C. Custom sizes 5–450 mm.
Typical applications
-
Cinema/TV lighting — pull green out of LED/fluoro rigs for higher CRI/TLCI and natural skin.
-
Photography & events — fast magenta balance for mixed house lights and rental LEDs.
-
Stage & architectural — reduce green spill while keeping saturated reds vivid.
-
Retail & museums — truer product and artwork colours with moderate light loss.
-
Machine vision — stabilise colour response by taming mid-green energy.
